Urinary Incontinence is when you experience sudden leakage of urine. This is due to weak or lost control of urinary sphincter.
CAUSES

Urinary Incontinence is a common condition and happens because of weakening of the pelvic floor muscles primarily due to aging and child birth.

TYPES

There are 6 types of urinary incontinence: Stress, Urge, Mixed, Overflow, Functional and Reflex. However, the two most common types of urinary incontinence in women are Stress and Urge Urinary Incontinence.
SYMPTOMS

Stress Urinary Incontinence
Stress incontinence happens when there is stress or pressure on the bladder. Common actions which engages the pelvic floor muscles, such as sneezing, coughing, laughing, sudden movement or physical activity can cause you to leak. It is the most common type of incontinence, especially amongst younger women who had experience multiple child birth.
Urge Urinary Incontinence
Urge incontinence happens when you frequently have the sudden urge to urinate but can’t get to the bathroom in time. You also do not urinate much once you get to the bathroom. The leakage can happen when you don’t expect it such as after drinking water or during sleep.
